 Linda Ellerbee: Veteran journalist and “Nick News” anchor Linda Ellerbee has been traveling the world covering breaking news stories for 25 years. She also writes a weekly syndicated newspaper column, is a frequent public speaker, has written two best-selling books, and runs her own television production company called Lucky Duck Productions. During her 12 years as a network correspondent and anchor at NBC, Linda wrote and produced award-winning shows and specials including the “Today Show” feature series “TGIF,” “Weekend,” and “NBC News Overnight.” Today, this multiple-award-winning star of hard-nosed TV journalism trains her reporter’s eye on the breaking news and real opinions that affect kids like YOU in her weekly newsmagazine, “Nick News With Linda Ellerbee” and “Nick News Special Editions.” Always a champion of kids’ rights, Ellerbee wants “Nick News” to help you stay informed about the events that affect your world, but she also wants the show to give you an environment in which you can share your opinions about public issues and join in the country’s most heated debates.
